Bugonia - Ticket First Website

Art Direction, Development[UI/UX / AI]2026

A cinematic website concept designed to transform interest in the film into a direct path toward ticket purchase.

The project combines UI design, product thinking, and editorial art direction, creating an experience that remains immersive while being strongly focused on conversion.

The system brings together persistent navigation, a guided booking flow, film content, search, merchandise, and personal account features within a coherent and responsive interface.

Film promotional websites are often designed as narrative experiences or content archives. While they can effectively communicate a film’s atmosphere, the path to purchasing tickets is often secondary or fragmented.

The challenge was to create an experience that preserved the film’s visual and narrative impact while making conversion the core of the system. The website needed to guide users from discovery to purchase without disrupting immersion, organizing multiple functions and content types within a clear and coherent journey.

We developed a ticket-first experience, introducing persistent navigation that keeps the Get Tickets action accessible at all times. The booking flow was structured into progressive steps - showtime selection, seat selection, and payment - supported by a visual system that combines editorial direction with product-design principles. The result is a responsive website that treats ticketing not as a secondary feature, but as an integral part of the cinematic experience.
