The project was designed to collect and present all tour stops clearly, while creating a coordinated visual asset with strong impact, readability, and consistency with the artist’s identity.
Johnny Marsiglia is an artist with a strong identity, rooted in hip-hop and defined by personal, recognizable writing. For the 2019 tour communication, the goal was to create a functional yet refined artwork capable of presenting the dates immediately, without feeling like a purely informational poster. The design needed to work primarily across digital formats, where clarity and visual impact are essential.
The artwork had to balance information and identity: keeping the dates easy to read, establishing a clear hierarchy, and creating a visual strong enough to stand out in social media feeds.
I developed a central artwork as the visual foundation for the entire tour communication, organizing the information through a clear and immediate hierarchy. The result is a compact, direct, and recognizable communication system: not just a list of dates, but a coordinated visual identity supporting the tour promotion and strengthening the artist’s digital presence.
