Picciotto - Terapia
The project visually translates the personal, social, and therapeutic nature of the record, creating an image capable of representing rap as a tool for analysis, awareness, and transformation.
The visual identity explores the relationship between fragility and clarity, conveying the idea of an album that moves through emotional states, inner conflicts, and generational questions.
teRAPia is a concept album structured as a journey through different human emotional states: dreams, frustrations, illusions, responsibility, and self-awareness. Picciotto uses rap not only as a musical language, but also as a social and educational tool. His work in rap-based creative writing workshops against school dropout in challenging neighborhoods of Palermo reinforces the meaning of the project: music becomes a way to stimulate questions, give voice to complex experiences, and transform discomfort into expression.
The challenge was to work within an already defined visual imaginary without altering its character. It was necessary to integrate illustrations, text, technical information, and graphic components into an organized, readable system suitable for production. The project required executive precision: respecting the atmosphere of the album, maintaining continuity across all parts, and preparing print-ready files.
I worked on the graphic design and executive adaptation of the materials, building a layout consistent with the concept and the project’s illustrations. My contribution involved the composition of elements, visual hierarchy, layout design, and preparation of technical files for printing. The goal was to make the visual identity solid and producible while preserving the original illustrative atmosphere. The result is a coherent graphic product, ready for physical production, in which the illustrative work is enhanced through clear, controlled, and technically accurate design.
